After fumbling around with a camera or two while dangling from cliffs Ryan realized that his calling was in capturing personality.
Armed with a new curiosity and a trusty sidekick Ryan dove right in training with legendary photographer Joe McNally. Soon after, Ryan was honored with an international photo award by Photo Life Magazine for a shot taken at a rodeo in Alberta which only served to further ignite his passion.
Despite, briefly, getting lost in some misty mountains Ryan finally resettled among the beautiful vistas of Vancouver.
Redoubling his fervor Ryan delved into the world of beauty and fashion.
Whether to knock over a reflector or chew on a lightstand Jake has proven to be an invaluable member of the photographic process. With a mischievous eye and a social demeanor Jake treats each photoshoot like an opportunity to find someone new to love.
Jake is a large Alaskan Malamute, If you feel uncomfortable with him being on set please let us know ahead of time.
...and no matter what he tells you, no, tummy rubs cannot be given in lieu of payment but are much appreciated.

A 2:30 hour session which includes 3-4 looks and several dozen photos to choose from. A session also includes 3 retouched photos.
If you don't need a full shoot worth of images and are just looking for a great image for your social media profile or your business about page. The shoot only takes about an hour and you get to choose one photo for retouching.
A makeup artist/hair stylist can be made available for the shoot at the price of $50.
Additional photos can be retouched for $35 per image or 4 for $120.
If you need to update your look or just want to diversify any future sessions are 30% off for the rest of your career!
A 50% deposit is required to schedule and the remaining balance is due the day of the shoot. Please make all cheques payable to "Ryan Cooper". Should you wish to pay by credit card please let us know before the shoot and a paypal digital invoice will be dispatched.
Within 48 hours of the completed shoot a link will be provided to a proofing gallery for which you can choose from for retouching. Once the retouched images are complete you will be provided with another proofing link. If you are happy with the result and all due payment has been met high resolution versions of the edited images will be delivered to you via internet download.
All cancellations and recheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance in order for the deposit to be refunded.
You are more than welcome to bring a friend along with you for the shoot in order to feel more comfortable. However, if so, please let us know who will be accompanying you before you arrive.
